Outline
Since the genesis of second-generation mobile communications, the Mobile high-speed data Communication Business Division has been involved in a wide variety of operations including the planning, specification planning, design and development, quality evaluation and management of mobile products, chiefly mobile phones, and also provided customers with business support and support for operations aimed at the widespread adoption of mobile phones.
Through the future development of embedded and control software for mobile products and other systems, we will establish links among people through communications technology and actively support all business towards the realization of a ubiquitous society in the age of next-generation high data-rate communications.

- In the field of mobile communications, Systena has dealt directly with the major domestic carriers and manufacturers many times, and has been involved in the development of over 300 models of mobile devices. In addition, having received orders for a good balance of development work spanning every process, from highest-order processes (planning, specifications) to lowest order (evaluation), based on our rich track record in development we provide customers with a range of proposals in line with their requests and offer business support.
- Early Acquisition and Deployment of the Latest Skills
- We work actively to promptly acquire the latest skills, including for open platforms. Particularly in the field of Android development, with over 150 staff with commercial development experience we can provide comprehensive support, from technical consultation to proposals for implementation. We also have an extensive track record in the prompt launch of other projects requiring the latest skills, and can provide proposals and support towards implementation.
- A quality-conscious personnel setup
- Unlike general software vendors, we aim to ensure quality and compliance by remaining conscious of maintaining a personnel configuration where 80% are full-time employees of Systena or its subsidiaries and Group companies (in which Systena is the largest shareholder), keeping personnel from affiliated companies to 20% or less.
Strategy
As a strategy in the communications industry, with 3.9-generation data communication terminals being developed in the future, Systena will work to actively expand projects for next-generation terminals, leveraging the development track record and expertise it has acquired to date in third-generation communications terminals and open platforms such as Android.
In anticipation of the transition to a true ubiquitous society which will gain momentum in the future, Systena will also actively expand into the field of non-mobile projects such as car electronics and network-enabled home appliances by applying the expertise and technologies it has acquired to date.
